1)Website usage
Welcome to our website. If you continue to browse and use this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Headline Studios relationship with you in relation to this website.
The term 'Headline Studios' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner of the website. The term 'you' refers to the user or viewer of our website.
The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:
a) The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
b) Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
c) Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
d) This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
e) All trade marks/logo's reproduced in this website which are not the property of, or licensed to, the operator are acknowledged on the website and do not in anyway affiliate us with such company’s. They are associated as equipment suppliers only and are included for illustration purposes.
f) From time to time this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).
g) Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England, Scotland and Wales.

3) Vouchers
a) All vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase (except for when special promotions state to the contrary).
b) Headline Studios are able to offer extensions to existing voucher holders providing this is done within the valid period of the voucher. Call us and discuss an extension upgrade.
c) Vouchers must be redeemed within the period that the voucher is valid, as shown clearly on the voucher.
d) Vouchers are non-transferable unless under prior agreement by the Headline Studios management team.
e) Once a voucher has expired it cannot be extended.

Voucher Terms and Conditions:
"1. Vouchers may only be redeemed at Headline Studios
2. Vouchers may not be redeemed against other goods or services with the exception of those mentioned on Voucher.
3. The voucher must be redeemed within a year of the day of issue.
4. It is the sole responsibility of the purchaser or beneficiary of the voucher to book studio time for the use of this voucher. The studio bears no responsibility for vouchers which are not used within the given time.
5. To ensure a convenient time of recording, booking should be made within 2 months of the voucher issue date.
6. All customers and voucher beneficiaries and their guests at the studio agree to abide by the studio regulations and the terms and conditions of studio recording which are available for consultation on our website.
7. Any extra services or studio time requested by the beneficiary of the voucher which are not covered by this voucher will be paid for in full by the purchaser or recording artist on the occasion of the recording taking place.
8. Recorded material will only be released to the beneficiary of the voucher on receipt of full payment for the services requested and carried out.
9. If services are delayed beyond the control of the studio, the beneficiary of the voucher will be offered other convenient dates. The studio takes no responsibility for ensuring that commercial or private deadlines are met in these circumstances.
10. Bookable hours are between 10am and 10pm, Monday-Sunday excepting public and bank holidays.
11. Bookings should be made by telephone or email, stating the voucher number and details.
12. Any additional payments should be made to "Headline Studios".
13. Headline Studios vouchers are individually tracked and marked. Any attempts to defraud the business by the forging or misuse of vouchers will be met with a full legal response.
14. If you change your mind about your purchase, please contact us to cancel within 7 days, and we will offer you a full refund or a credit note. After this time a partial refund is applicable please see full Terms and Conditions on website. This does not affect your statutory rights.
15. Headline Studios does not guarantee to provide any backing tracks requested. Backings available are limited to those in our library and those that can be found on other approved websites. Other backings may be supplied by the customer.
16. Whilst every attempt is made to provide a relaxing, entertaining and rewarding session, Headline Studios cannot guarantee that any experiences will full fill any personal ambitions or provide services beyond those of recording and music production. The studio will not take responsibility for any personal disappointment which may arise as a result of either attendance or non-attendance of a recording session.
17. The studio reserves the right to unilaterally cancel a voucher at its own discretion. In such a rare case, the customer will be refunded in full.
18. In the unlikely case of a refund, the total value of the experience is reflected the cost of the voucher."

5) Refunds and Cancellations
a) We are happy to offer a refund on a voucher providing you contact us within 28 days of purchase.  If it’s within 7days of purchase a full refund will be provided. Past this date up to 28 days of purchase there is an administration cost of 20% (to a maximum of £35) that is deducted when a refund is given. The refunded money will be credited to the original purchases card. Should this card have expired then we ask to be notified in writing with the up-to-date credit card details so that we can refund successfully. A Refund cancels the voucher and makes it invalid immediately.
b) If an experience has been booked and the recipient cancels within 24 hours before their session starts this will render the voucher invalid and no further date can be offered.
c) If recipients fail to attend their booked session this will render the voucher invalid and no further dates will be offered (for exceptions see Force Majeure under section 6).
d) If an experience has been booked and the recipient wishes to cancel their appointment up to 14 days before their booked date and time then it is possible that the management will rebook a new time slot, but this may well exclude weekend and bank holiday slots. Cancellations within 7 days of an appointment date will be subject to a £10 re-booking fee.
We are known to be quite liberal in the interpretation of these terms, and have often waived certain terms on request, in situations of illness or other unavoidable circumstances.
6) Force Majeure
a) An experience may be cancelled and rescheduled as a result of conditions beyond its control such as, but not limited to, war, strikes, fires, floods, acts of God, governmental restrictions, power failures, or damage or destruction of any network facilities or servers. Headline Studios will not be liable for any costs resulting in the rescheduling of appointments cancelled, nor will they be under any obligation to offer a refund (see clause 5a for our standard refund policy) due to Force Majuere (greater forces).

7) Bookings
a) The weekends can be our busiest time here at the studio therefore it is advisable that if recipients wish to redeem experiences on a weekend they call soon after receiving their gift voucher. Weekend slots are subject to availability and are on a first come first served basis. We cannot offer you a weekend slot outside of your voucher expiry date. Headline Studios cannot be held responsible if the recipients desired redemption date is unavailable. Please see 3b regarding extension of voucher validity.
b) If a recipient is late for their studio booking please note that it is not possible for the session to over run. In some circumstances late arrivals may be turned away due to insufficient time to complete an experience.
c) Headline Studios has the right to move the studio location at any given time. Voucher holders that are booked in prior to any studio move will be informed either by telephone, email or in writing.
d) It is always advisable to check our web site (under "Location" at the top of each web page) for our current location. We are presently situated at Headline Studios, Shaw Heath, Stockport, SK2 6QP.
e) We advice all session goers to plan their route well in advance, and don't take your sat nav for granted! We advise anyone to "drive around" the neighbouring town of Tunbridge Wells as it's heavy congestion often makes voucher recipients late.
f) Headline Studios reserves the right to cancel and re-arrange sessions at any time.
g) Plan your route and allow plenty of time for your journey. You are advised not to turn up more than 15 minutes before the start of your session. If you arrive late we are not able to over run at the end of your session.
h) Bookings are confirmed by email providing you offer your email address at the time of booking to a telephone operator. A confirmation email is not proof of a booking date.
8) Age & Behaviour
a) If voucher recipient(s) behaviour causes concern in any way for Headline Studios staff whilst they are on the premises we reserve the right to ask them to leave immediately thus terminating their session and invalidating the voucher.
b) We ask that all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
9) Confidentiality and Privacy
a) The information we gather here on this web site is kept secure and is strictly confidential. We use your details solely for the purpose of presenting, delivering and receiving payment for vouchers. We do not sell or pass information to any third party companies thus you can be assured your details are safe with us.
